its been cool working.... except that it can be stressful at times...

but yeah...life has been pretty amazing these days!!! or at least i'm trying to look at a better perspective here... lol..

been learning how to chill these days...especially when you worked so hard the entire week...and then when its finally FRIDAY...you get to chill at Ship and Mitre with a bunch of maniacs as well...lol... trying to lose some work stress ler...hehehe...

trying to adapt to new lifestyle as well apart from the 'happy hour' session every friday now... is to get slimmer as well =p badminton is back in trend now!!! heheheheh... trying to sweat here...since its colder now...although i cycle to work...doesnt really help much...

hopefully i'll be in shape for Paris!!!! can't wait!!! >.<

I have a confession to make...

I never thought I could stand up again...

I fell hard...so hard that I never knew who I was..people around me think that I am alright

I wasn't... it was difficult. I am not superhero...who knows how to hide PAIN...

it was painful in the beginning...I fell on a 'BIG rock'...It broke something very delicate...it is so delicate tht it could drive me to somebody I could not even recognise...

But things change...

God has been wonderful...He obviously is.. He showed me things that I do not want to see in the beginning..I ran away from reality...hiding myself behind the shadows... didnt want the world to know about it... I cannot bring myself to face the 'people'

It is hard enough to survive UK (especially now) nobody knows except for God. I've been living in a very very bitter life... Friends were alright...but extended families were a pain in the butt...you obviously do not know how hard it is to be living in foreign country all by yourself...stop sucking it all up..

Then again..God showed me all the wonderful things all over again...people that I can call 'family'...Summerfest was amazing...an eye-opener to what He wanted to tell me...it change the whole perspective...especially how I am leading my life now.. I slowly letting things go...one by one...leaving it all to Him...

As far as I am concern right now...I am happy...I may be tired...but at least this is what I want to do...at least I am dwelling in Him...

Got a job...not the 'ONE' but at least it pays the rent and bring food home...

cuilin, I am doing fine here...Although I miss home...there are still a lot of things for me to do here...and I will find out what it is =) you will be coming here...so I shall be meeting you very soon!!! take care, babes...

A man from Norfolk , VA called a local radio station to share this on Sept 11th, 2003, TWO YEARS AFTER THE TRAGEDIES OF 9/11/2001. His name was Robert Matthews. These are his words:

A few weeks before Sept. 11th, my wife and I found out we were going to have our first child. She planned a trip out to California to visit her sister. On our way to the airport, we prayed that God would grant my wife a safe trip and be with her. Shortly after I said 'amen,' we both heard a loud pop and the car shook violently. We had blown out a tire. I replaced the tire as quickly as I could, but we still missed her flight. both very upset, we drove home. I received a call from my father who was retired NYFD. He asked what my wife's flight number was, but I explained that we missed the flight.

My father informed me that her flight was the one that crashed into the southern tower. I was too shocked to speak My father also had more news for me; he was going to help. 'This is not something I can't just sit by for; I have to do something.' I was concerned for his safety, of course, but more because he had never given his life to Christ. After a brief debate, I knew his mind was made up. Before he got off of the phone, he said, 'take good care of my grandchild. Those were the last words I ever heard my father say; he died while helping in the rescue effort.

My joy that my prayer of safety for my wife had been answered quickly became anger. I was angry at God, at my father, and at myself. I had gone for nearly two years blaming God for taking my father away. My son would never know his grandfather, my father had never accepted Christ, and I never got to say good-bye.

Then something happened. About two months ago, I was sitting at home with my wife and my son, when there was a knock on the door. I looked at my wife, but I could tell she wasn't expecting anyone. I opened the door to a couple with a small child. The man looked at me and asked if my father's name was Jake Matthews. I told him it was. He quickly grabbed my hand and said, 'I never got the chance to meet your father, but it is an honor to meet his son.'
He explained to me that his wife had worked in the World Trade Center and had been caught inside after the attack. She was pregnant and had been caught under debris. He then explained that my father had been the one to find his wife and free her. My eyes welled up with tears as I thought of my father giving his life for people like this. He then said, 'there is something else you need to know.'

His wife then told me that as my father worked to free her, she talked to him and led him to Christ. I began sobbing at the news. Now I know that when I get to Heaven, my father will be standing beside Jesus to welcome me, and that this family would be able to thank him themselves . When their baby boy was born, they named him Jacob Matthew, in honor of the man who gave his life so that a mother and baby could live. This story should help us to realize this: God is always in control. We may not see the reason behind things, and we may never know this side of heaven, but God is ALWAYS in control. Please take time to share this amazing story. You may never know the impact it may have on someone. God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

it was foggy yesterday night when i was at work...
so i had to cycle in the fog until Kei came to fetch me at Matalan... ^^
it was horrible!!! cold and u couldn't really see much!!
according to the weather report its gonna be foggy the whole day today as well...aihh...
no wonder its so cold in the house now!!! its -1°C at the moment... =.=!!!

ok...i've finished the book in two days!!!
was working on sunday...and i read most of it throughout my 5 hours shift although had 50 calls coming in...
anyway, the book is about a guy name Lou who is always busy with his work and had no time for family and friends...most of his social time went to his company's dinner and gathering...then he met a guy name Gabe which sort of gave him an opportunity to have MORE time since he always complains about not having enough time to spent...
he manage to seal two big contracts for his company in one night...because he was doubled-up meaning two Lou attending two separate occasions and manage to get the deal done. So he finally got promoted and as time goes by....little did he realise...his time is coming up...
when he got to know that Gabe was behind all this...he was afraid that his family might be in trouble because he didnt realise he that is in trouble...
anyway...while reading this yesterday...i actually cried!!! because it is really touching!!! i cant believed i actually cried...i'm not going to tell the ending of the story...but... remember...time is to be shared!! spend more time with your loved ones while u still can =)

its much warmer in my room now...i guess double glazing windows does help with the crazy weather in england now!!! and it looks much more posh now hahahahahaha

it was gorgeous!!! although wasnt tht nice compared to last yr's Liverpool 800th year anniversary ...it was much more fantastic then... =)

okok...sorry for not updating!!! here it goes!!
i've been..... hmmmmm..........................
actually not much >.<
ever since i handed in my dissertation and finally done with my MA
I've been to Italy - it was horrible!!!! was in Pisa and Florence..the scenaries and the structure is beautiful!!! however it is the people that i am very very disappointed with. I thought Spain was worst...this is even worst...i felt that i've suddenly went into a third world country worsts that malaysia!!! thts not good! I was very proud to be Malaysians suddenly at tht time!!! ^^ our customer services anytime better than them ...phew...
worst of all...was stuck in Pisa Airport for at least a good 7-8 hours and thinking we can nap in the airport...MANA TAU...the guard have to asks us to leave because theyshut down at 12.30am to 4am!!!!! so hv to squat outside the airport for another 3 1/2 hours!! =.=!!! it wasnt tht cold...BUT gradually getting colder and colder
so i urge u not to go Pisa or Florence...go somewhere bigger Rome or Venice

after that came home feeling lost! cos nothing to do...as if my brain is dying off....no readings, no assignments, no lectures, no seminars.......its the begining of not having to study full time now........... while eagerly looking for a job..i realised that i've also becoming so lazy...sighhh...
just sticking at home except to work...sitting in front of my studio 15 laptop, facebook-ing all the time..think am gonna have a OCD Facebook like my friend Danny ^^

except tht i've been paying quite an often visit to Riley's - a place where to play snooker, pool and poker without to tolerate with smokers!!! which is sooo good...

my cooking skills are getting better also ^.^V yea!!! hehehehehe... was cooking bak kut teh yesterday...all of the bak kut tehs i've cooked...yesterday was the best!!! it was as if in Klang at tht moment eating my bak kut teh...HAHAHHA!!

not only my skills got better...i think my face somehow changes that people cant recognise me!!! my gosh!! one was steven and the other my church Pastor!!! Steven was asking Karolina who was the girl in the picture...cos he couldnt recognize who it is so it has to be new girl taking picture with stephen. meanwhile, my Pastor, Karen...couldnt make up who i was and assume i'm definitely the new girl...and decided to asked for my name...(although i wasnt wearing my spec...i dont think i was tht much of a difference that people couldnt recognized me!!!) Steven says i lost weight...whish is why...its like a total new person!!!

i guess theres pros and cons to it....while i'm still worried in getting a full time job and planning ahead what i am going to do here...theres a transformation in me...at least a good one ^^

gonna head for fireworks event later!!! its the 5th of NOV!!! 'Remember, remember the 5th of Nov!!!' gonna play some fireworks as well!! its legal here!!!! wooohoooo!!!! =)

well...i've been going out a lot these few days (although it doesn't seem much)

looking at news lately...people lost their jobs every single day in UK and the numbers are still increasing...so...how am i going to get a place here??

but nothing can be justified at the moment...because nothing has changed....it is only the imagination and the feeling that the time is getting nearer and nearer...hmmmm

Been really busy with dissertation...have to speed up some of the writing...
its been pretty good...able to write most of it...leaving a 'sort' of a lil left to write...which shldnt be a problem...

had a terrible morning!!! my beighbour was doing some renovation and it was NOISY!!!! couldn't even sleep properly...as if i was having a nightmare!!
they cannot stop knocking the wall which as if going to knock through my room's wall! ............

It's been really hectic ever since I started working...
but thanks to the busy days...as if been motivated to do most of my work =)
anyway, life isn't as boring as previously...although it may seem life-less...hahahah
the oni entertainment i have lately is playing Monopoly Mega Edition...HAHHAHA
and I found out one tactic to win the game...maybe not much...but at least a slight probablity of winning there!!

red squirrels

it was saturday...and desiced to go Freshfield...
its another small town 30minutes away from Liverpool...
took train...and it was all packed with people!!!
guess it was the mass parade tht everyone just cam down to liverpool..
bt i decided to go out of liverpool...hehehe
anyway...reached thr...walk abt 15 mins...
and finally reach my destination...
took me 2 mins...to actually see where the red squirrels are...ehehehe
and we were so lucky...we saw a number of them...
there was one...up close and personal with the red squirrels...eating nuts..hehehe
very cute...=)
i got so tired...didnt make it to the sand dune...it supposed to be another beautiful place...
maybe next time...

It's been really really busy for me....
summer program students are here...this is their first week here...
you can see them rayau rayau in the middle of the night where all shops are closed...
and no mamak to go to... =)
i was them...last yr...
anyway...although busy...but it was an amazing week...
no doubt i am now employed with two jobs...
remember how i actually desperate for one...and now..got more thn i can work for...
i've got my first pay slip today...woohooo!!!

My adventurous day

i had the most adventurous time of my life in uk....FOR ONCE!!!
anyway...we went to Lake District...is a place in uk tht attracts lots of tourist due to its beauty
and most people go thr to hike...so for the first time in my life...went hiking...
without hiking gear!!!
left liverpool around 10 ish in the morning
stopped by Kendal (small pretty town) for picnic
then off to Grassmere (somewhere near Grassmere) to park our car
we started hiking on the wrong hill...came down...and climbed the other one that we wanted to
took me 2 hours to reach the top...
where they have beautiful lake on top...
there we stop for tea...cos we were all exhausted and hungry...
i couldn't help but kept complaining...n regret going on this trip!!! hehehehe...
after resting...we get ourselves down...
and unfortunately...the next thing we know...we're like 20+ miles away from our car!!!
we went down the wrong route!!! n got ourselves to another town!!!
so we were stuck somewher in Lake District (because it is really really huge place)
hungry and cold!!! waited near an hour for the taxi to arrived to fetch us bek to our original
destination...=/
and all i noe...my whole body felt like breaking up...my legs are aching...stomach not feeling well(due to cold food the whole day) headache...
then off to steven's for bbq...where most of us are so died-ed...couldn't even enjoy the bbq...
reached home near 2am!!! and slept till 11 plus in the morning...surely an adventurous day!!
will post some of my tired and grumpy face from the trip soon...hehehhe
